For tourists we are ideally located for visiting the city of Oxford (famed for its universities), Blenheim Palace (birthplace of Churchill), Henley Regatta or maybe Garsington Opera, all are only a short drive or bus journey from us. If you like to walk we have the Thames Footpath directly outside our entrance with a superb six-mile loop along the riverbank and through a woodland nature reserve. The facilities here are of excellent standard, all are guests rooms are en-suite with bathshoweroom. The Bar and Restaurant area is a mix of old and new, with open wood burning stove for winter and ceramic floor for cooling the summer. The atmosphere here is relaxed and informal with a strong emphasis on good homcooked food all being prepared in our kitchen, The separate breakfast room was originally the old stables, it has whitewashed walls and ceramic tiles, creating a light and fresh room well suited to start the day.
